Pumpkin Smoothie

Who doesn't love all things pumpkin in the fall?  As we enter this wonderful season, it can be hard to stay on track eating healthy.  I like to try to find healthier alternatives to the sugary treats to still satisfy a pumpkin craving.  This smoothie combines lots of delicious fall flavors all into one!  I hope you love it as much as I do!  When you make this, don't forget to tag @hbgcommunity and use the hashtags #hbggirls and #hbgblog.  Let me know if you make any yummy changes to the recipe.  There are so many different combinations of ingredients you can use to make a pumpkin smoothie.  I'd love to hear what your favorites are! 

Ingredients:

1/2 cup pure pumpkin puree

1 large banana (sliced)

3/4 cup ice cubes

1/2 cup non-fat vanilla Greek yogurt

1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp pure maple syrup

1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

Directions:

1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.

2. Blend until smooth.  Times may vary depending on your blender.

3. Pour into a cup and enjoy this delicious treat!
