I get asked all the time what I eat after I am done exercising. I decided it would be a great idea to share with you what I love to make once I finish my workouts! I love to make protein shakes and this is one of my favorite combos. Though, there are so much great recipes and ways to make a delicious post workout snack, this one is my favorite. I hope you will share below your favorite smoothie recipe with me if you have one!
Before you start, you need to find a protein powder that you love. Everyone is going to like a different one. I think that my favorite is Dymatize ISO 100 - really any flavor, but my favorite is vanilla. If you don't know what you favorite protein powder is, I would recommend heading to your favorite local health food store and find one that is right for you!
Ingredients
1 scoop of your favorite protein powder
1 cup frozen berries (I use strawberries, raspberries and blackberries)
1 tablespoon walnuts
1/4 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
3/4 cup fresh spinach
2 teaspoons ground flaxseed
8 ounces water
Directions
1. Place all of the ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth. That's it, directions are over!
