I seem to always be looking for a tasty snack a few hours before dinner. I end up throwing something together to satisfy my hunger. If I keep these healthy ingredients around the house, I'll end up eating a healthy snack. So, here's some ingredients to keep around so you can make a quick snack that will satisfy your hunger and its extremely delicious!
1 apple (My favorite apples are honeycrisp, but you can use any apple for this)
1/4 cup Natural Peanut Butter
1 tablespoon unsweetened coconut flakes
1 tablespoon dark chocolate chips
1 tablespoon walnuts, chopped
1. Cut the apple into slices about 1/2 inch thick.
2. Spread the peanut butter evenly over the sliced apples.
3. Sprinkle the toppings evenly over the peanut butter.
Of course there are plenty of alternative topping combinations you can use. This is my favorite, but you may find a different way to create your apple cookies.
